Consists of Powys's evaluation of two books Dakers is publishing, T. Mundy's I say sunrise (London, 1947) and J. M. Murry's The free society (London, 1948), with Powys commenting on Mundy's concept of Wisdom and comparing Murry with Dostoievsky [i.e., F. M. Dostoevskiĭ]. Also included are brief remarks on the death of J. R. White.
